Work Health and Safety Policy

Corearth provides communication information management and electro-magnetic energy prediction software development and integration services, radio communication site compliance expertise, communication site field audits, radio frequency field survey measurement and advisory services to public and private clients serving the communication sector.

 It is the policy of Corearth to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of our employees, our customers, the public and others that may be affected by our activities.  We expect all within the Company to observe the principles set out within this policy.  To deliver on our commitment we will:


Implement a risk management approach to prevent, eliminate and control risks in the workplace
Comply with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations, statutory and ethical obligations to ensure our workplaces are safe for all employees and other stakeholders
Convey our health and safety policy to all employees and other stakeholders as appropriate to ensure they are aware of their obligations
Recognise that no task is so important that it be performed at the risk of personnel health and safety
Provide our employees with suitable and sufficient information, instruction and training to ensure that the knowledge, skills and competencies of our employees enable them to work safely
Seek to continuously improve health and safety performance through consultation with employees, by undertaking regular system audits and by establishing a framework for setting and communicating measureable business performance objectives and targets
Ensure adequate and appropriate resources are available to facilitate the fulfilment of OHS responsibilities

Work health and safety is both an individual and shared responsibility.  Any individual observing unsafe workplace practices or conditions has a duty of care to raise that issue with the parties involved.

All Corearth personnel, suppliers and contractors are responsible for ensuring that work is undertaken in a safe manner consistent with this policy


 

Environmental Policy

At Corearth, we recognise environmental protection as a key component to sound business performance.  We are committed to acting in an environmentally responsible manner in regards to our activities and services. 

It is the responsibility of all employees to share a role in achieving the policy objectives. 

For the purposes of this document, the following terms apply:

  • Senior management is defined as the directors, officers and senior managers of the organisation
  • Environmental aspects are the elements of Corearth's activities, products and services that can interact with the environment
  • Environmental impacts are the changes to the environment that result from Corearth's environmental aspects

Corearth acknowledges that the environment can potentially be impacted by any of its activities, products and services.  This policy sets out how the organisation will manage, monitor, measure and otherwise be accountable for its ongoing environmental performance.

In the implementation of this policy, Corearth will adhere to the requirements of relevant local, national and international law pertaining to the environmental aspects and impacts of the organisation and ensure that this policy is kept up to date in line with those requirements.

Corearth is committed to preventing pollution wherever possible and will ensure that as well as optimising new products, services and processes to facilitate this prevention, existing systems and processes are reviewed regularly in order to identify areas for pollution prevention.  Corearth will:


Convey our environmental policy and targets to all employees and other stakeholders as appropriate to ensure they are aware of their obligations
Apply effective environmental management practise to identify and manage the environmental impacts and risks of our activities, products and services
Promote and encourage environmental awareness and training to ensure individuals have the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to fulfil their environmental obligations with relevance to our operations
Strive to continuously improve our environmental performance through regular system audits, monitoring and review to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate
Transfer materials or waste outside of Corearth for recycling or reuse; if no option is available, implement controlled disposal of such material
Require employees to comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations and statutory obligations
Implement specific control mechanisms to prevent pollution, conserve resources and properly dispose of all waste generated through ‘replace, reduce, reuse and recycle’ initiatives
Seek continuous improvement in our environmental performance through setting and regularly reviewing objectives and targets
Reduce, where possible, the use of polluting materials or technologies
Design and develop products in such a way as to reduce the environmental impact of their uses

Corearth will integrate environmental management procedures, processes and planning within the general operation of the organisation to maximise the potential reduction of the organisation’s environmental impact. This Policy is to be understood and practiced by all personnel, suppliers and associates of Corearth.
